The Active Ingredient blend of Z-Z-7, 11-Hexadecadienyl-1-acetate & Z-E-7, 11-Hexadecadienyl-1-acetate is a potent attractant for males of Pectinophora gossypiella. This liquid formulation @ 3mg is loaded in silicon rubber septa, which is placed in funnel sleeve / moth traps in the field.

Targeted action:
This product is intended for use as attractant of Pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) in cotton Farms, in order to trap them for monitoring and mass trapping. This is found to reduce the intensity of pest incidence, leading to a reduction in crop damage thereby improving the yields / output.
Application Protocol:
Place the Lure/Dispenser in the funnel /sleeve trap or moth trap and place the trap at various locations in the field just above the canopy level of the crop. Recommended to use one lure of Pectinophora gossypiella per trap. One Pectinophora gossypiella lure would last up to 30-45 days depending upon climatic conditions. The trapping density should be adequate to manage pest infestation. The recommended trap density is 40-50 traps per hectare for mass trapping and 8-10 traps per hectare for monitoring.
Packing: Pectinophora gossypiella lure is packed in a metalized triple layer pouch.
Storage & Disposal precautions:
- Store the dispenser away from sunlight in a dry and cool place.
- Do not open the pouch until just before placing it in the trap lure holder.
- The product expiry date is 2 years from production date under good storage conditions and without opening the sealed pouch.
